We stepped outside our comfort zone last week and made a big change to this blog.
Change can be scary! But oh how true it is that the best things come when we open ourselves up to new, different things. Change is good!

When we were first introduced to the idea of switching over to WordPress, we were not entirely up for the feat. It’s a lot of work and WordPress is more complicated than what we’d been working with. But then we opened up our eyes and ears and decided to honestly try. It’s incredible how much you learn when you listen, research and dive into exploring something new.

We’ve been thrilled with the change! We’ve been made aware of so many new, amazing, wonderful options for blogging and we couldn’t love it more!
So like this dressing…
Most people buy dressing. After all, it’s typically not that expensive and usually tastes delicious. But a homemade recipe can be a nice experiment. With fresh ingredients and an ability to last a while, homemade dressing is another tasty option. It’s easy to make, it’s healthier without processed ingredients and is a delightful change from the ordinary.
Question: How do you feel about change?
Honey Mustard Dressing (egg free*)
Print Recipe
3 Tablespoons Raw Honey
3 Tablespoons Natural Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Prepared Mustard
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Pink Salt
1/2-1 teaspoon Grape Seed Oil, as needed
In a small mixing bowl, combine the honey, mayonnaise and mustard. Whisk until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until incorporated. Add more oil if needed/desired. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
*we use egg free natural mayonnaise, but many brands are not egg free.

for the mustard, is this suppose to be ‘prepared’ or ‘powdered’?; makes a bit of a difference.
It’s prepared. We used organic yellow mustard from Trader Joe’s. Thanks for clarifying.
Thanks! Love honey mustard dressing!
