This peanut buttery milkshake is a dream come true.
This last week, we’ve been trying out a lot of blender ice cream recipes. As a warning, you’ll probably be seeing a lot more blender treats in the coming months because 1.) High-powered blenders (like Blendtec) are completely amazing and efficient. 2.) They promote healthy, naturally sweet drinks, smoothies and milkshakes. 3.) It’s an easy way to make a meal or dessert in about three minutes flat.
This “ice cream” milkshake is one of them! This peanut butter flavor dessert is completely banana based so it’s a healthy choice over traditional ice cream. There is no dairy in this thick, ice cream treat and you really wouldn’t know it. Peanut butter makes it even more creamy and creates a really delicious flavor. It’s filling, sweet and really enjoyable knowing it’s full of nutritious foods. We’ve been known to enjoy this in the AM. Hope you do, too!
Peanut Butter Milkshakes (vegan & gluten free)
3 Large Frozen Bananas
3 Tablespoons Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
2 Tablespoons Honey or Agave
2 Tablespoons Almond or Coconut Milk
1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
Combine everything in a good blender in the order of what your blender recommends (frozen items first, then liquids, or liquids first and then frozen). Blend until smooth and creamy and enjoy!!
