These last few weeks, I have been going through a transformation of sorts. I’ve been eating cleaner than I ever have in my entire life and I am starting to see some of the benefits. For one, I am craving better foods than I did before. It is quite refreshing to get a craving for fresh, healthy ingredients. Don’t get me wrong, I still want buttery croissants and chocolate (preferably together) but I want real, whole food that will be actual fuel for my body more. When this happens, I am proud of myself. It’s not always easy to choose the greens over the chocolate.
When we give our bodies a chance to eat what it truly needs, those dark leafy greens and juicy cucumbers look way more scrumptious than you thought possible! I relish the times when I feel this way – and I do that by giving my body what it wants!

Oh the healthy possibilities are endless! This green juice is a nice transition into the green drink category if you’re new to this juicing ship. It’s sweet and filled with so many of those nutrient rich produce that you won’t even feel like you’re being healthy. That is, until this drink feeds your cravings, detoxifies your body, gives you energy and makes you feel like an overall rock star.
Sweet Green Juice Recipe (vegan and gluten free)
1 Bunch Kale
1 Large Cucumber
6 Celery Sticks
Juice all ingredients in a juicer. Pour over a few cubes of ice if desired and enjoy. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. For maximum benefits, drink immediately.
