We have some big updates to share with you all.
For the last 14 years, we have been trying to narrow the distance between the three of us and for a little while, it was getting better with Chelsea going to school out west instead of living in Washington DC.
But just recently, Chelsea announced that she was going to devote the next year and a half as a missionary for our church in Brazil. Talk about a distance gap! Brazil will increase the distance and creates a nice sabbatical for our natural sweet baking partner. However, we are so excited for her and are of course, so proud that she would want to take this opportunity to serve and help others.
This is where we say goodbye as she is leaving this week! You won’t get to hear directly from Chelsea this year but we hope to share a little about her experiences in her absence (with some Brazilian inspired dishes as well)! We are so proud and know this will be an amazing experience for her!
To make our parting with Chelsea a little less bitter, we have other happy news. Our brother Ben got married last December and we couldn’t be happier to have another sister in the family! Luckily they don’t live as far away as Brazil!
As you can see, 2013 has been amazing and we expect 2014 to be even greater! So with that, goodbye Chelsea!!! We hope you will find many wonderful adventures and great opportunities! It’s going to be a great year, friends!
Do you have any big changes happening in your life?

Good luck Chelsea! Is that a picture of your bridesmaid dresses from your brother’s wedding? They’re super cute! (Way better than what I’ve gotten to wear in a wedding!)
Annie says
Hi Kelly! Yes they are! They turned out to be REALLY pretty. The bride did a great job picking them out. The red color is so pretty I plan on wearing mine for every future Christmas party!
