I can’t think of a more romantic dessert. Fresh red strawberries dipped in chocolate are just classy.
What’s more luscious tasting than melted chocolate over fresh fruit?
We added a nice sprinkling of coconut over that chocolate for a truly succulent treat! Those little sprinkles give both flavor and a beautiful appearance for a delicious way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! And maybe with a few X’s and O’s.
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
1 Pint Fresh Strawberries
10 ounces of Sugar Free Chocolate, melted
1/3- 1/2 cup unsweetened Shredded Coconut
Wash and dry your strawberries. When your chocolate is melted, let cool slightly. Dip your strawberries into the melted chocolate. Depending on how much coconut you’d like, sprinkle with or dip in coconut and lay fruit on a wax paper lined dish or platter. Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes or until chocolate is hardened.
