This is the morning where we get ready for a night of trick or treating, costume parties and walking around in the brisk Autumn weather!
This morning, we’re arming ourselves with large doses of vitamins and minerals for the chilly evening and the late night treats ahead. Starting the day with a healthy green drink gives a nutritious beginning- just in case the evening eating choices go terribly wrong. This green drink is full of healthy vegetables to load in the nutrition needed to help curb those sugar cravings and crashes. After this, you may not even want a ton of candy! The super healthy green bok choy is packed in to give amazing health benefits. This green is full of vitamin A, vitamin C, beta-carotene, calcium, potassium, B6 and dietary fiber to help aid in digestion and give you energy to enjoy the night. If the thought of a green drink such as this is a bit too scary- blueberries, cinnamon and xylitol help sweeten up each gulp. I call it a goblin guzzler cause it’s Halloween!!!
Green Goblin Guzzler (gluten free and vegan)

1 1/2 cups Bok Choy
1 cup Frozen Spinach
1/2 Avocado
1 frozen Banana
1/3 cup Frozen Blueberries
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Juice of 1 Large Lime
1/3 cup Almond Milk or Milk of choice
1/4 cup Xylitol or Stevia to taste
Place all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth and creamy. If a little thick for your liking, add more almond milk or water.
Makes 3 small smoothies
