Hello, friends! It’s Annie. Can I still call you my friends despite disappearing this year? Where have we been?
Remember when Natural Sweet Recipes had a small series of setbacks and site crashes? All that excitement happened before making a cross-country move and I didn’t have the heart to get everything back to working order before we left or even after we arrived to DC. I took a step back from Natural Sweet Recipes for a season while I focused on getting our house to feel like a home. I got so wrapped up in other exciting projects that my little “timeout” from the blog turned into a 10 month sabbatical!
Having readers engage on our site and social media after months of inactivity brought me back in. Some sweet readers even sent emails asking how we were (you’ll never know how much that meant, thank you!). I realized I couldn’t stay away. I missed creating edible, beautiful content. I missed the constant motivation of creating healthy recipes (which helps keep me gear!). And above all, I missed sharing the happiness and excitement of a dessert with you, in hopes that you’d try the recipe too!
So here we are! I am sorry for the long break but I am feeling better than ever. I’ve had time to appreciate why we started this blog and see how a simple recipe like Apple Cinnamon Waffles (the first recipe posted on this site) started a creative outlet and amazing opportunities! I am in a new beautiful area with a new perspective and new things to inspire. It’s a new era! So, I’ll be changing Natural Sweet Recipes as well by running this site without my sisters. While Holly and Chelsea are always interested in tasty desserts, they have not been able to dedicate the time they’d like to this blog. But don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated on their life happenings (now I can really talk about them!). Actually, you can probably expect guest posts occasionally or hear about their reviews for new recipes!
I hope you will continue to visit Natural Sweet Recipes this year. This site has become such a source of creativity and joy for me and I am excited to continue this quest. I have great things planned for 2017. Thank you for being apart of it!

It’s so nice to see you again!! I was wondering where you ladies went and figured it had something to do with the move. Also..technical difficulties are noooo bueno..definitely the bane of every blogger’s existence. So I’m so happy you’ve braved it all and are back for more! Can’t wait to see what’s in store next!!! xoxo
