Peanut Butter Milkshakes

April 5, 2013

Vegan peanut butter milkshakes

This peanut buttery milkshake is a dream come true.

This last week, we’ve been trying out a lot of blender ice cream recipes. As a warning, you’ll probably be seeing a lot more blender treats in the coming months because 1.) High-powered blenders (like Blendtec)  are completely amazing and efficient. 2.) They promote healthy, naturally sweet drinks, smoothies and milkshakes. 3.) It’s an easy way to make a meal or dessert in about three minutes flat.

healthy peanut butter ice cream milkshakes

This “ice cream” milkshake is one of them! This peanut butter flavor dessert is completely banana based so it’s a healthy choice over traditional ice cream. There is no dairy in this thick, ice cream treat and you really wouldn’t know it. Peanut butter makes it even more creamy and creates a really delicious flavor. It’s filling, sweet and really enjoyable knowing it’s full of nutritious foods. We’ve been known to enjoy this in the AM. Hope you do, too!

I made this but increased the PB & honey cuz I really didn’t want any banana flavor. This was soooo good. Sure you don’t need to increase everything like I did, probably delicious as is. Thanks for the recipe!!
