I’m in the cosmetology program at my high school. I’m in my senior year which means I’m getting ready for the state board exams.
State board exams mean hours of studying chemical reactions, giving countless haircuts to anyone who will volunteer (even if that’s my trusty mannequin) and time intensive presentations and competitions. Anyone who says “hair school” is just a bunch of lipsticks and curling irons needs a good look at the real deal. The real deal is sometimes overwhelming and time consuming with tired feet!
When I feel tired, I don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen but nothing lightens me up like a richly delicious treat. Catch 22? Nope! I’m going to share one of my favorite rich chocolate treats that highlight simplicity. A healthy and sugar-free treat but that tastes oh so succulent. And covered in clouds of silky dark chocolate give me the perfect boost to keep me going. With a hint of salty pretzel and a sweet bite of pecans, these clusters have a perfect balance of flavor. They are easy enough for me to whip up after a long day which might make them the best, naturally sweetened candy ever!

Print Recipe
1/2 cup Pecans
2/3 cup Gluten Free Pretzel Sticks
1 cup Sugar Free Chocolate, melted
Roughly chop up pecans and pretzels. In a bowl, mix the pretzels and pecans with the melted chocolate. Pour mixture onto a waxed lined baking dish. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until no longer shiny. Remove from the fridge and break into smaller bite size clusters. Serve and enjoy!
