We’re in summer 2015 and it’s been a good season. Our summer days have been well spent. So well spent, that we’re thinking it’s the perfect time to introduce another health challenge for fall!
A few months back, we ushered in the summer with a sugar-free eating challenge. We challenged everyone to forgo sugar for 30 full days. Whether you participated or not, this challenge seemed to bring out a lot of sugar-conscious friends and readers and we loved feeling included in a positive circle of support and excitement. This helped us stay motivated and inspired to keep our goal.
Once the challenge ended, we received a few emails asking about the next sugar-free challenge. Some of you had enjoyed it and others of you had missed it! We’re always up for a sugar break and September felt like a fabulous time to cut out all sugars and artificial sweeteners. September is after all our summer vacations and before the holiday season. It’s perfect!
We’re giving you lots of time to prepare and mentally gear up for 30 days of sugar-free. If you have any questions or concerns, look out for a post next week sharing some ideas on how to start a sugar-free detox. We’ll be sharing lots of delicious recipes to keep you focused throughout the month and of course share tips and support along the way! We’re sure that once you become immersed in sugar-free living and befriend those with the same goals, beating sugar is a piece of cake.
