It is quite refreshing to get a craving for fresh, healthy foods. Don’t get me wrong, I tlike a lot of wholesome foods, but I still want buttery croissants and chocolate (preferably together). I’ve been trying to continually improve my diet and now I want real, whole food that will be actual fuel for my body more than the croissants and chocolate. When this happens, I am proud of myself. It’s not always easy to choose the greens over the chocolate.
When we give our bodies a chance to eat what it truly needs, those dark leafy greens and juicy cucumbers look way more scrumptious than you thought possible! I relish the times when I feel this way – and I do that by giving my body what it wants!
We all know that juicing is an amazingly efficient way of giving our bodies what they want. Smoothies are well and good, but you will not regret getting in some fresh juice. If you don’t own a juicer, borrow one like I did. It might even get you thinking about buying one for yourself when you taste freshly pressed juice right in your own kitchen. Oh the healthy possibilities are endless! This green juice is a nice transition into the green drink category if you’re new to this juicing ship. It’s sweet and filled with so many nutrient rich produce that you won’t even feel like you’re being healthy. That is, until this drink feeds your cravings, detoxifies your body, gives you energy and makes you feel like an overall rock star.

I recently happened upon a juice and it’s one of the best appliances I have in my kitchen! My boyfriend has been a hard sell on the green juice, but getting in the habbit of drinking some greens actually makes me crave them in solid-form on days I don’t get a green juice in. Hopefully this is the recipe to change my boyfriends mind, too :)
Yes, my husband has been needing extra convincing we need a juicer, especially since he just bought me a blender. :) So happy you have one!! They really are a wonderful thing to have and fresh juice is so amazing for our health!
I think green juices are really just liquid medicine. They are amazing for our bodies. This looks really great! A delicious fresh medicine. You even made it look yummy.
Hallie, that is an awesome way to think about it!!
I love kiwi in green juices, have to try your combo – andddd should probably eat cleaner. All of this halloween baking has got me feeling a little bit sluggish.. :)
Thanks Kristina! I love kiwi in green juices! I love that it’s a fruit, but still green. :)
