Homemade Snow Cones

Some days are just too hot for thinking. On those days, it’s best to stay cool inside and out.

Homemade Snow Cones

There’s nothing better than a snow cone on days that are so hot, you could fry an egg on the sidewalk.

No one needs hot temperatures to enjoy this easy, icy treat, but we will take the excuse! How enticing is fresh shaved ice in a sweet flavor? As kids, there were always a few snow cone shacks around town. We remember flavors like Coconut Cream, Green Apple, and Tiger’s Blood. However delicious, many of those flavors are filled with crazy additives, toxic food coloring and more corn syrup than anyone wishes to consume. However, if you have a blender, you can make your very own snow cones at home!

Lemon Snow Cones

These are so easy to make at home. Flavors are still limitless but a little healthier. We decided to make our snow cones one of our favorite flavors – lemon! And we further decided to make these as easy as possible – using natural store-bought lemonade! Make these into any flavor you want by using your favorite organic store-bought or fresh squeezed juices!
