Today we wanted to share with you some of our most beloved kitchen items. Some of these things are simple, some items are personal gifts from family and friends and others are just fun! Hope you enjoy our favorites and may these inspire you of new things you need for your kitchen!
My sweet mother-in-law surprised me with these adorable measuring cups just last week. These little Russian dolls fit perfectly inside one another for easy compact storage. I’ll always know where my cups are now! Each half of the doll is an individual measuring cup so you get double the measuring. They are so darling, they’re cute enough to display.
Pastry Mat
Holly found this mat awhile ago and we think it is awesome. It’s absolutely a dream for rolling out doughs! Wipe your counter with a damp cloth, lay your mat over and it sticks to your counter perfectly. The circle measurement sizes makes it easy to roll out according to your recipes. And using a mat, you don’t need as much flour!
Kitchen Timer
Any World Market fans out there? That store is always stocked with amazing kitchen supplies. Holly and I found adorable timers there one day. She bought the strawberry and I bought this pear. Little kitchen timers are both cute and useful. When you’re needing to be far away from the kitchen and fear you won’t hear the oven timer, these are a great solution.
Aprons
Aprons are the most basic and popular kitchen companion. Homemade ones become much more special. Our wonderful mother made each of us sisters these adorable aprons for Christmas! We love them! Aprons are such practical items for while you’re baking, we say you can never have enough of them!
Stainless Steel Scraper
This scraper is amazing and so versatile. It’s one of our favorite items because of simply how many uses it has! It’s got a great sleek edge for slicing and serving. It’s just sharp enough to use as a scraper- for things stuck to the counter or sink. The ruler edge makes measuring doughs so easy! We also love it for picking up cookies or dough from off our new pastry mats or counter. And there’s still probably many other great uses for it!
A family friend made us some of these great hot pads as a very thoughtful Christmas gift. Hot pads are an essential kitchen item and another one that you can never have too many of. Cute hot pads are a simple way to add something new to your kitchen.

We wanted to recognize her amazing influence in every aspect of our lives. Whether in the kitchen or out, she continues to teach and inspire us every day. Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you!
